My story
Over the last 20 years, I have worked with organisations going through large and complex transformation initiatives. I have consulted and worked with organisations to realise their change agendas within the financial services, fast-moving consumer goods, government and non-profit sectors. Organisations that I have worked with include some of Australia’s most iconic brands: AMP, Woolworths, Nestlé, Department of Defence, Australian Federal Police, Telstra, Anglicare, Westpac, Sydney Ferries, QBE Insurance and Guide Dogs.
In the past, I had the opportunity to lead the Westpac change management practice over a two-year period, where I provided leadership for over 250 change practitioners who delivered initiatives across the annual $1.3bil Westpac project delivery portfolio. In the role, I provided thought leadership on change management and user adoption for ongoing ways to improve business outcomes and maximise the return on investment for programs.
Since 2009, I have been an adjunct faculty member at the AGSM (UNSW), teaching change management and leadership in the MBA program. Also, during that time, I have developed and delivered executive education change management modules for a variety of organisations, including the ABC, ANZ, the Department of Community Services, and Qantas.
As part of my ongoing commitment to promoting excellence in the management of change, I am one of the founders of the Change Management Institute (CMI) back in 2005.
